David has been modelling all his life, joining IPMS over 30 years ago. He is an active member of Tyneside Independent Modellers and is the Northern Co-Ordinator for Asian Air Arms, and the SIG's Deputy Leader. David was one of the very first to lend encouragement and support when we launched in November 2016.

He lays no claim to direct contact with the air forces of the armed forces of the Chinese People's Republic or Hong Kong, but over recent years (with the encouragement of Messrs "Trumpeter and "Hobbyboss" and  others), he's discovered a growing interest in both.  This has resulted in an accumulation of not just plastic in his loft but also a considerable quantity of published material about these particular air arms, which he would be delighted to share with anyone with similar interests.
